I may come back and redo this picture sometime, in which case I'll try to keep from cutting off the dark end as much.Daniel Berkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13771693084266810042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3149474372777404842.post-79027014848979575932011-12-09T15:22:50.678-10:002011-12-09T15:22:50.678-10:00That's quite breathtaking, in my completely un...That's quite breathtaking, in my completely unqualified opinion. :)Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02526716783206553352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3149474372777404842.post-52543262270861761172011-12-08T08:42:51.121-10:002011-12-08T08:42:51.121-10:00Great shot! My only critique (and this is really only a minor point, as it is an excellent picture), would be to be careful about how much of the dark end of the histogram you cut off. It is always a fine balancing act between cutting out skyglow and accidentally shaving off the fainter regions of the galaxy.

Again, great work! I had been wondering just how the heck you got this picture until I read further down, lol.Nathannoreply@blogger.com
